Actually, there was a rumor going around that when Obama was sworn into office that he used the Koran, not the bible, but this rumor has been dispelled a few months ago by looking at video and reading several press releases that he was sworn in with his own bible.

Simple slimming tactics, but I know you are smarted than to fall for those!

Also note that the picture of him is of him with others when the national anthem was being played. He didn't have his hand over is heart, (which you don't have too) but in the actual video he is the only one actually singing the national anthem.

It's politically incorrect to bash a man because of his race, and historical background so instead they are trying to paint him as an anti-american. It's disgusting and untrue. Please don't believe these rumors.

I bet you were told this through the rumor mill, or got an email about it. Here is the real truth. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp

I'm sure that none of it actually is true Corvus, but what is true is this: he's a phony. he's trying to be accepted into the Christian community so that more Americans will accept him. He's trying to hide the real him. But I have some news for him. NO REAL Christian will EVER support Barrack Obama.

I have to respectfully disagree. Christians can back him as well and many (who are well-educated do).

Any person who declares himself a Christian, then can support abortion isn't a true Christian. Any person who declares himself a Christian, and supports Obama isn't a true Christian. They may think they are, but I very seriously doubt it.

Hmmm... well I am a pro-choice, obama supporting christian. I think that anyone that can condemn people so easily is not a christian.

It's just unfortunate, and I swore I would not answer any more of these posts and I promise this is that last one, you turn people away from God when you are judgmental and not open-minded. God is love and compassion not hatred, judgment and malice. What makes a christian? Does God say, you must believe this and vote for him. No. God says you believe in Jesus death and resurrection, accept that and you are a Christian. It's unfortunate, I like you very much and I had read many of your posts and you are very smart, but it is Christians like that who do a disservice for the kingdom as you will turn people away because they don't want to be a part of something so hateful. Jesus says come as you are - use your voice and opinion for good. That's all. I have a feeling that you are young and eventually you will learn and I wish you the best of luck.

Any Christian who judges other people can't be a real Christian, any Christian that is not humble and meek is not a real Christian, any Christian who does not have faith that their god will NOT allow an "anti-christ" to be in power and destroy his little sheep is not a Christian, any Christian who is boasterous and self-proclaimed is not a real Christian.

Bash me all you want, it doesn't bother me. Like I've said before, I having nothing to prove to any of you people. I'm a very strong Christian, and what some person on the internet thinks of me doesn't concern me in the least. I'm not trying to shove my religion down any one's throat here. This site is simply a place to ask, and answer questions. I answered this question with my opinion. I respect everyone's opinion even if I don't agree with it, just like I respect everyone even if I don't nessacarily agree with everything they do. Its only human to have your own opinions, and likes/dislikes. It doesn't mean I'm not a Christian because I don't support obama.

I have an indescribable amount of faith in God. He's everything to me. God works in mysterious ways, and no one can really assume that he wouldn't let an anti-christ be president. There are many scriptures in the Bible explaining why God allows evil in the world. Genesis chapters 1-3 tell of God creating a good world in which human beings, as the crown of his creation, are given the capacity to freely choose to obey or disobey their creator. When our first parents (Adam and Eve) chose to disobey God, they unleashed the power of evil in God's perfect world (Genesis 3). This evil tainted and twisted all creation, including the hearts of all members of the human race that descended from the first couple. Stubborn human hearts, physical death and disease, a natural world that is "out of kilter" — all is the result of this first human disobedience.
"Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned'We may feel that this explanation is far from adequate. How is it fair that an entire race should suffer because of a single act of disobedience in the distant past? While the Bible does not fully explain the fact of evil in God's world beyond the partial answer of Genesis 3, there are at least two further reasons to believe that God is a good and moral being who cares deeply about suffering and evil. First, there is the reality of a universal human moral sense — the very moral sense that causes us to struggle with the problem of evil in the first place. Ironically, even the act of condemning God as unfair to allow such evil, is an appeal to some universal principle of truth, a higher moral law. An atheist cannot rationally make absolute moral judgments, since on the atheistic view, the universe is simply an impersonal physical system of randomly moving atoms. Where in such a universe is there a basis for making absolute moral judgments about evil and fairness? There is a second reason to believe that God is a good and moral being who is deeply and passionately concerned about evil and suffering -- in a word, that reason is Jesus. According to the New Testament authors, Jesus is literally the human face of God (John 1:1-2,14; 14:8-9). As we read through New Testament Gospels, we are impressed with the kindness and mercy of Jesus that transcended social class, gender, and ethnicity. Jesus heals outcast lepers (Luke 17:12ff), he weeps at the grave of a friend (John 11:35), he gently touches and heals a deaf man (Mark 7:32-35). Beyond these and many other concrete acts of mercy and compassion in response to suffering, there is Jesus' willing acceptance of a cruel death, which he himself said was to bear our guilt and bring us God's forgiveness (Mark 10:45). And the story of Jesus does not end in death and tragedy. Against all odds, the early Christians proclaimed the message of Jesus' bodily resurrection from the dead. Jesus is the tangible evidence of a God who is not only profoundly grieved by suffering, but who entered history to overcome death and evil.

#1 - I am not bashing you. I just think you should take a look in the mirror before questioning the beliefs of a FELLOW Christian who is pro-choice or pro-Obama

#2 - I'm not a chiristian, and I don't like Obama (for real reasons) - so I really don't care about any of this, I just have nothing better to do with my time

#3 - Have any scriptures saying it's okay to judge Obama?
