Germany was forced to pay reparations for starting WW1. Then in the early thirties the worldwide great depression devalued currency. Germany always felt the reparation were to harsh , and so Hitler had a large group of eager followers that did not feel so bad about blaming the rest of Europe for their hardship.

Mein Kampf, Hitlers so called Bible was written after WWI. He thought Germany let the people down, and that they were really winning the war. This is not true, but this is what he told the people. So they blamed the Jewish community for getting into German politics, and economics and stopping Germany winning WWI. This is the beginning of the end, once the book got out, the Jewish community was doomed.

As well Hitler had his goons, go out into the public, and start dividing everyone. Part of this division was to undermine the Jew. So if you have a group of peoples, one German, one Jew, one black let us say. They would go into the group, and say the Jew is the root to Germany's downfall during WWI. So the Jew would get pushed out of the crowd. Now the other two in the crowd are starting to feel superior to the Jew. Then they did the same saying the black was inferior. So then the Germans left in the group, started really feeling superior. Basic crude example, but this is how it happened. Glad I could help.
