Experience: I’ve never liked questions about experience since many people consider a lack of professional experience to be a lack of ability or intellect and a sign of stupidity. However, I’ve more than made up for my professional shortcomings with personal experience and life in general. I strive to NEVER stop learning or growing. The only stupidity is believing you know everything and refusing to learn more.
I’m currently a rental manager in charge of 10 units (apartments and houses), a student working toward my Master’s in Psychology and Social Work, and most importantly, a full-time mom to 3 beautiful, rambunctious, amazing kids. I’ve also worked extensively with the mentally/physically disabled and those that have been dually diagnosed as well as in Customer Service and Sales.
Personally, I’ve faced and overcome several trials that many will never have to face and I’ve learned from each of them. If I can help just 1 person because of it, then it will all have been worth it.
