Onan 2800 shuts down with 1000 watt load. carb opens up, but sounds like it gets plenty of air but not enough fuel?

Tried to rev up engine, but acts like a lack of fuel. Fuel filter ok, pumps plenty of fuel, but under moderate load, just opens throttle and "leans" out. Help.

Onan 2800 won't work with even a 1000 watt load

Onan microlite 2800 carb seems to not be getting enough gas even though fuel delivery is OK
