Seperated from husband for 5 years and want to buy a home

I do not know where my husband is and I want to buy a home. How can I overcome the title issues and proceed without him since he is entitled to half the home i purchase?

Need to conatct the Title Company and ask them. If you know his last mailing address send a certified letter to him at that address. Even try asking for address service to get a current address. Go to the Post Office and see what can be done on getting a address and you may even need to contact a lawyer to get legal advise on the seperation and what can be done to get the title issue resolved

This is a legal issue and my mother went through the same when I was born. I know she kept my dad's name, but he was a sneak, ran off and remarried. I could not do anything because I found out many years later he died in 1982, I feel in my heart that you should see an attorney, free legal services for help. Don't do something then you are going to find out he has his hand into the cookie jar. the best...
