No, he can not make you move, but he can evict the friend, legally he has to be notified of others living in the home and he does not have to allow them to live there.

He could also evict you if the person in question was living there without being on the lease as a violation of your lease agreement.

If there is a lease between you and the owner, YES!
Also landlord has the RIGHTS to increase your RENT if you bring in a person into your apartment.

I have been a landlord for many years. The best advice I can give is to offer the landlord an increase in the rent.

You need to read your lease. Most leases state that you have to get prior written approval from the landlord before you can let a person move in.

YES! also if your landlord do criminal backgound checks in your complex it should be done on everyone that is over 18 years of age and live in the apartment or house. And if you have children would they be safe with them. Now days you can't get a job if you have a criminal record they checkk for everything. It is for the safety of others.
Who should sign your lease
The lease is an agreement between you and your tenants therefore, it is important that both you (the owner or landlord) and all of the people that will be living in your property sign your lease. This should include everyone who will be living in the property, even if they are only temporary residents. Once possesion is given to your property, it is very difficult to get someone out if you can't show a good reason why they should leave. Your lease should spell out exactly who is permitted to stay, and for how long.
