Landlors are at defult i'm the renter what do i do?

I just rented a home in Riverside Calif this January 2008 paid the landlord $2,500 I just recieved notice that the home is in forcloser and is being sold by the bank i have less than one month to move i'm a single parent and despret someone please help me! what or who can i contact to help me.....

I think that there is nothing you can do but move out. You could possibly sue the landlord for 2500.00 but it might cost more than the 2500.00. You could contact the bank and tell them yoou are a single mother with children, I know that you cannot just throw anyone out of a home with children in it, The only thing that may do is buy you more time. Good luck :)

Unfortunately, the bank is not bound by any contract that your landlord entered into. The bank can do what they like with the property. Sorry.
