Quit claim deed

My mother quit claimed her home to my brother and i in 01/20/2004 she entered the nursing home in 04/2008 in the state of Illinois would it be free and clear from the nursing home.

Can i do a quit deed claim on my brother,s estate? he has pass away and i am the excuter to the estate.i also live there now'.
