Real Estate 2nd Deed of Trust

My name is Bing Ball. My email address is bingball@comcast.net.
I have a 2nd Deed of Trust and it is due now. I still owe $31,000. The 2nd lienholder wants me to pay them off. I am unable to do so because my score has not gone up for me to refinance the first and 2nd. The 2nd mortgage holder told me that he will contact his lawyer.
My question is "CAN HE TAKE MY HOUSE IF I AM UNABLE TO PAY HIM OFF?" I have been paying my monthly payment to him. But because my first mortgage has been late 30 days since November 2007.
Can he take my house away? Please answer me as soon as possible. My 2nd DOT is due on April 25, 2008. THANK YOU.
