Tenant moved out, but let her damaged car on the property. What should I do?

I own a rental property in Tennessee. The tenant moved out 2 weeks ago, after one month of a 6 month lease. I left a notice on her car - 10 days ago - that specify that the car should be removed and the car is still there.

I would checks the rules and law in your area, but give it a little more time and if they still do not pick up, you can just have it towed.

Call DMV in your state. In PA it is illegal to abandon a car. It comes with a hefty fine. If she is still in the state, they will find her. You can't get the car towed without proof of ownership. Otherwise, think of all the spiteful exes who would do that! Let the Department of Motor Vehicles take care of it.
