Where does a quitclaim deed need to be recorded?

My mother owns a lot in Florida, she wants to sign it over to me (we are in NC). Should it be recorded in our NC county, or in the FL county?

The transfer of title must be recorded in the county in which the property is located in FLA. Contact that county's assessor and recorder's office.
