Effect on young grape vines?
I used a contaminated plastic pump-sprayer to apply a leaf rust spray to my 2-year old grape vines... BAD NEWS... The residual 2,4-D is killing all the new growth... and continues to degrade the plants... WHAT CAN I DO... ANY ANTIDOTE OR WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST CORRECTIVE ACTION.... CUT OFF THE DAMAGED GROWTH...? SPRAY WITH WATER...? OR JUST STAND BACK AND WATCH MY EIGHT VINES DIE...? HELP ME......!
I AM SICK... I applied weed-B-Gone to kill chickweed.... rinsed the plastic sprayer.... added the mixed fruit tree spray and mortally wounded my grape vines.... just finished a 24 x 15 arbor.... I AM SICK.... ANY ADVICE.....I have lots of varieties... some plants seem to be more distressed than others.... but the growth has STOPPED... and the plants appear to be dying...... HELP...
