Epocy picture mounting

I'm in the process of testing to munt photographic pictures on a wooden or sintra board and cover it with clear epoxy. We have made some tests but the problem seems to be bubbles comming from below the picture. Also, we use a 2 inch deep frame around the picture and want it to cover with epoxy at the same time we cover the picture.
The problem we are running into are following.
Whne using sintra board the epoxy wil not stick to it very much. Basically we can pull of the picture including the epoxy once it is dry. That;s why we thought a wooden board would work better. In additionwe are trying to find out if we mount the picture on the board do we glue the picture with a glue first or do we pur a layer of epoxy and then lay the picture on top of this first layer and then pur more epoxy on top of the picture. However, this seems to cause the bubbles comming out from below the print.
Also, we seem not to get a nice edge around the picture. Epoxy flows down on the frame and when it get s hard leaves very hard to remove ugly things sticking out for the frame.
We have seen some pictures mounted on a wooden baord with a perfect durface and also very smooth frame. We are just not sure how to achive this.

I would use a spray adhesive by krylon or patricia nimmocks or 3m or whatever brand you can find spray the back of the photos evenly, let them dry for about 20 seconds until they are tacky, then stick them down and rub the front of the pictures with your fingers to stick them flat so no air is under them. then you can pour you epoxy. good luck!
