Can I sell my half of my house to my wife?

We are in the early stages of divorce in NYS. We have not even seperated yet. Before we do I would like to sell my half of our house to my wife. She wants it, I don't, and I need the money to move out. Is this something that can be done with a realtor or lawyer, or can it be written up in the seperation papers or is it something that we can just do without divorce or seperation involved? Thanks.

She can buy you out now for what price you both decide on, but then if it is like North Dakota, she would have to refinance the morgage on the house under her name and income. It would be better to get a lawyer and get the best way to handle this
