Am i entitled to any money from our family home.

Me & my partner have recently sepaerated. I moved out 6 months ago. I have left the family home with my son, the house is in his name. I had put £30,000 down agianst the mortage.
When i left I brought a house and he gave me the money back I had put into his house along with about another £20,000.
I moved out on the understanding he just needed some space and we could always rent or sell my house out when we got back together.
I have since descovered the real reason was as he was seeing someone else and is planning on moving her in.
I no longer have a key as he made an excuse as to why he needed it back.
Am i entilted to any money from his house - our family home.
We never married but the child is ours.

Seek legal advice. I am almost sure you can get compensated for your investment in addition to child support which is by right.

If you guys shared a mortgage payment I am very sure you can get some money back. Get a lawyer and seek legal advice. Also collect any check stubs or evidence that you may have supporting your claim.

You are obviously in the UK, so no one but a solicitor can answer your questions competently.
You should seek the counsel of a solicitor immediately ( since this post is 12 days ago, I hope you have done so)
