He can not sell the house unless you to agree to do so...
If you want to keep the house and can afford to keep paying the morgage on it, you can do this by paying out his half of the house to him.
My uncle had to remorgage his house to pay his wife half of what their house was worth plus half of everything inside if he wanted to keep it all...
Again you really should seek legal advise before your ex stops payments...
Very best of luck in this matter, hope it all works out for you.
You're going to lose your trailer, and maybe even your land....To be dead honest, while it may be true that he can't sell it without your permission, if he quits paying and you are not capable of paying, then "the bank" will take it. There's nothing that you can do to stop the bank, except pay them, so make plans to move.
You have three options
1) Kiss up to him and get him to pay everything for the rest of your life,
2) find another boyfriend with a job,
3) Move.
Many in your situation would consider bankruptcy. What if you go down that road, eh? Let's say you find a free lawyer who will help you file chapter 13, to restructure your payments on your debt of the trailer mortgage....This may delay the repossession for a little while, but unless you have an income, or a man with money, you are still going to lose the trailer. In summary, make plans to move, or buy an RV to plant on your land. If you file bankruptcy to delay the reposession, and if the land is worth more than about 5000 in value, the bankruptcy court may force the sale of even your land. I am not a lawyer, but ask a lawyer and see what he says--I'm telling you the truth.
