Can I write up my own guardianship papers.and would they be legal.if the mother and father signed them.

I do not know about Alabama state law but from experience in Mississippi it is not legal. I tried to stay with my aunt to go to school in Miss. and she written the paper and had them notorized but the school system said that it had to be court paper saying that she had temporary custody over me. I am a disabled oef/oif iraq disabled veteran and my ex husband gave over temporary guardianship of our daughter to his parents. I wasn't informed about it,. Until i was transferred to germany.
