Do i need to get DCFS/CPS invovled to grant someone temp custody of my minor son?
Right now i am not in the very best situation and i need to get back on my feet and i have a really good friend that is willing to take in my six year till then. my son in not in any danger has food and clothes and not being harmed but we are staying in a hotel and i dont feel that it is fair for him to be stuck in there and im struggling with money so untill i get a better job and apartment this friend will "foster" him. i want to make sure that everything is legal and that she gets help taking care of him where do i start? i know i will have to go to court but then what and is that the 1st step?
