I want to live with my Dad but my Mom doesn't me to. She has threatened to make sure I never take any of my posessions if I leave and that I can never come back if I do leave.

Now... I live in PA and I am 15 and I was wondering if there is a way for my Dad and I to do something about this? It is unfair of her to threaten such things especially when she took everything from my Dad when she left him. He can hardly provide for us because of the child support he has to pay and she usually squanders it away on her nails or fake tan. The fridge hardly ever is half-full and I can't stand her boyfriend. I want out!

Is there a law or something that can get my things for me or should I just slowly take things from her house to my Dad's? She is getting married to her boyfriend soon and I'd like to get out before then because I don't want to live with her after that...

You are of an age where you can tell the judge what you would like to happen and he will take your wishes into account when making a decision. your dad and you more than likely will have to go to court to get the parenting plan changed. as far as your things, you may have to tell a judge this situation and have him make a decleration to keep your things. if not, they are just things and things can be replaced. you are makinge adult decisions here and i commend you for it. keep that though process when you do go to court. keep it fact based and as hard as it is to do at your age, listen to the adults. you may not agree all the time but they do know what they are talking about most of the time.

More than likely the judge will demand that his things be returned to him. You can't hold someone hostage under any circumstances. And you can't hold things for ransom. Our legal system doesn't work that way.
