I would think if you are building a case against her, it would be best to have some sort of documentation about this incident and the date it occurred. At least call the police non emergency hotline and ask them.

My Ex decided to go on vacation and not tell me
My Ex decided to go on vacation and not tell me. She told my 12 yr old son he was staying with me while she vacationed out of state for a long weekend.
What can I do. I heard it from him. She didnt ask me. Do I call the Police? Does it look petty?
I go to court next week on contempt charges against her for this sort of thing.
