My ex wife gave me custody of my 2 kids does she have the right to take them from me

We were never married but when we split up she gave me custody of my son. I had a court order paper made stateing that I would have custody of my son with visitation rights to my daughter. She then moved out of town with my daughter. From this time I had my son and she had my daughter. I was also paying child support for my daughter but I had full custody of my son and she payed nothing is that right.
Second question she now gave me custody of my daughter. So now I have both children living with me and she stills lives out of town. There are no legal documents stateing that I have custody of my daughter. And she is not paying child support. I am nervous that she might want to take my daughter again. What can I do to ,ake sure she doesnt take her from me.My daughter has been living with me for about 7 months and is enrolled in school.

First of all, you might not have had to pay child support seeing as you each had custody of a child, but that is no longer an issue. Second...you need to go down to the courthouse and file a motion for full legal custody with primary residence. Let them know that your ex dropped her off 7 months ago. You can file the motions and represent yourself if money is an issue. I personally would want the advice and guidence of an attorney, especially when the welfare of my children are at stake. If you want to retain a lawyer...it would probably be in your best interest because they could take care of all the leg work and filing of paper work. The attorney would file the motions for you. I highly doubt they would allow her to take the child back and the attorney can advise you more on that matter. If you do nothing and she comes back and takes your daughter, you will definitly not have a leg to stand on because legally she still has custody.
