Can my ex wife and new husband take me back to court

Can my ex wife and new husband take me back to court for more money. we divorce 5 years ago. she got house with £80,000 equity, saving plus life policy and maiintenance for our 2 children - £125 a month each. 6 months after divorce she sold house and bought new house with now husband, since then sold that and built their own house. they now what more. I have never missed a payment and still paying for both. one is due to finish in june2010 when college course finishes- child will be 19! my other child has a learning disability but has never be given a statement. could this used against me to pay for the rest of my working life? i don't begrudge the children anything but my new wife and i don't think it fair that we are funding ex wife and hubby life style. the hubby has told us that he'll see us in court! can he do this? can they use my childs learning disability to get more money? MLD= Moderate learning difficulty

Typically, no. Unless your financial situation has improved dramatically, or if they can prove that your ex-wife got a raw deal (it doesn't sound like it), the burden should fall on her new husband to care of his new family. Since she remarried, this should be about the children only. Hopefully it goes like this: I personally know of a case where the judge actually awarded the ex-wife less than she was already receiving because their combined income was more than enough to fund their existing lifestyle. You might want to retain the services of an attorney who can dig deep enough to find out exactly what their financial situation is. Just because they want to live large doesn't mean it should come at your expense.

Button,

Yes, an ammended support order can be created, it behooves all divorcee's to stay mute on all visitations and refrain from talking to children about new cars, vacations etc.

This will no doubt be told to custoial parant and be grounds for a finanical review.
