Domestic violence

Will a taped conversation of me and my wife her telling me why she lied about are domestic volence case hold up in court

Not unless she gave consent to be recorded. A judge won't even listen to it if it was recorded without her knowledge.

Court wont take tapes

I would think that you could use the tape in Family court but I don't think that a higher court would allow the tape unless the other person knew that they were being taped. All I could say is that if you go to court or have a lawyer or can talk to the other sides attorney and tell them about the tape then they might possible dismiss the charges???

One more to agree with what everyone else said.... it is illegal to tape record someone without consent....it is not illegal if someone over hears it and testifys for you in court
