There is a statute of limitations for child support. If you didn't have a judgement for child support then you may be out of luck, but if there is a judgement by the courts, he may be liable still. My best advice would be to consult a lawyer and see if there is not something you can do. I am sending you a link that gives you the statute of limitations by state. Can i get any money due to me from my ex husband?Such as past due child support,any retirement money? We were married for over 13 yrs,had two sons.
He remarried,is till married,i am not married ,and need to know if hes making a living,he has always forgotten his children i think he should be liable still for them,even though their adults. They have been stuggling,this makes me angry.
