Does my child have any legal rights to visitation with her siblings as his new wife refuses contact since he died.?

My ex husband died and now his widow is refusing to allow the children to have contact. Is there anything I can do to force her to allow the kids to have contact, they love each other a lot. Even if it was supervised, that would be ok as well.

I am looking for the same answer. My husband died 5 weeks after our daughter was born. The week before he went in the hospital his daughter begged us to come live with us due to verbal abuse from her mother. We had a parenting schedule in place, and since he was in the hospital my step daughters mother has denied visits. I have gone out of my way to attend any possible visit allowed to maintain a relationship with my step-daughter so that the sisters can have some time together, but the mother has used us as a means punishment for the last year and denied contact at the last minute. Now she is denying any contact as my step- daughter is now giving her attitude. She has also denied her daughter any grief counseling for the loss of her dad. I need to know if her half sister, my daughter has any chance at visitation rights.
