First you could start by finding out who the executor of the will was. They have a legal obligation to tell you if you have inherited anything. they are supposed to (by law) contact you to let you know if there is anything;

On dateline there was this special on a couple nights about people that didnt know they were left millions of dollars . at the end of the show they gave out this website that you could go to to see if you had been left any money by anyone. so google 'dateline you might be rich'
