Is he an honest man?

I met a man online, we talk online almost every night, but we see each other only once a week, he works in a hospital , and he tells me that he works long hours. he doesn't call me very often, but he says that he likes me a lot and he would like to spend more time with me but because of his work , he can't. do you think that he is telling me the truth?

What does he do during his time off if he only sees you once a week? Does he work seven days a week and what days does he have off?

He could be quite busy. But unless he is working alot of OT, he probably only works 3-4 days a week. granted they are 10-12+ hour shifts, but he should have time.

How long do you two talk online? 30 min, an hour?

If it is a while, next time you two start talking online, suggest that instead of talking online, lets go talk at a coffee shop, or a bar or something. Even if you talk in person for only 30 min, it would be better then talking online for an hour.

Is he honest? That is hard to say. Follow your gut instinct on that.

You might think about telling him your expectations. Don't put pressure on him, just tell him you'd like to talk more on phone, and to see him more than once a week.

Let him know that you enjoy being with him and see how he responds. It's easy for guys to get wrapped up in work, he might just need some coaxing to put more of his attention on you.

If you don't trust him there is usually a reason.

I don't think he is being that honest to you.

Maybe try meeting someone in real life. it usually works out better for you.
