Those seem alright. I've read better books out there on relationships and masculine/feminine polarity that are more hopeful.

just not a big fan of top ten lists like that since usually most of them are just common sense type things.

I agree these are "common sense" to some people, but if you read some of the comments here, it's clear it's not that way for everyone. I thought these were some great, quick articles to share that had some great reminders on how to have a happy relationship.

What I really like about these articles is the tone. The underlying theme is that if you are considerate and care about the other persons needs and they do the same for you, then a happy marriage will be made.

Also a note on masculine/feminine polarity - Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, not to be preachy but (in my personal opinion) these books cause more harm than good. Not only in the greater world where we spend a ton of time focusing on the similarities to create an equal world for men and women, but also by creating a framework where men and women are COMPLETELY different creates a copout for failed relationships and in the future will cause more harm than good.

I'm not pretending that men and women are not socialized differently, but I think most can agree that is the reason for the communication gap and by buying into the men and women are separate creatures theory that gap is only made larger.

Or as the comedian Ralphi May put it: "Guys, you can be right or you can be happy. But you can't be both."

Actually, these are pretty good links. Granted, everyone could add specifics for their relationships but this is a very good base for both. Nice Jodi.
