What are some good ideas on how to make a married relationship stronger?

I've been married for 8 pluss years now. What would you do to make your relationship stronger? She loves home made cards, hugs, kisses, flowers, ect. But what are some realy good ideas that can be done? We have four kids and I never have the time to take her to a movie like we use to do before we had kids. We just rent movies now but its not the same as watching a movie at the theators. Theirs no baby sitter to be found to watch the kids. I have a home theator system at home but the kidsmake too much noise and run around the house. You don't see that at the theators.

She loves roses with cards saying I Love You, but thats just my idea. I like to hear your ideas on how to make a bond srtonger besides giving gifts every day.

It sounds to me you have already answered your own question. You know what your wife like or dislike. Ask her if she prefers something different. Ask her if she thinks the marriage can be stronger. If she gives you ideas that's great. Continue doing what you are doing. Time, endurance, experiences, raising the kids together, saying and showing each other love, is a way to continue to make the marriage stronger. Make her a calendar with a different saying about how you feel about her, for every month. Rent a movie that came out the year you both were married and have a family movie night. Later you and wife can talk about the year you were married and where you are now. But you are already ahead of the game. Keep showing her that love and special attention.

You sound like such a sweet guy! With four kids and no babysitters, that's a challenge...I'm guessing there aren't any grandparents, aunts or uncles around to help out? Instead of Christmas presents, maybe you could ask your family to take the kids for a night---at their house or yours---and you and your wife could spend a special (kid-free) night together.

Buy her seductive dresses and admire her loudly when she put them on.
When you are home earlier FIND TIME TO CARRY HER ON YOUR LAPS AND KISS HER TONGUE TO TONGUE.
Write on top of your ceiling in your bed room you are most cherished, cant stop loving you.
Create a web page with her name and give the site name to her to go and check it out, where your described her as the best among all the women on planet earth.

Take a vacation! I have been married almost ten years. My husband is NOT as sweet as you, but when we went on vacation, it was like magic! It really brought some spark back to our marriage. Whether you take the kids or leave them with grandma and grandpa, a vacation can do wonders for a woman.
