What if your significant other keeps taking off on the family, what are my rights

They stay in hotels, don't answer phone calls, make threats when they do talk, blame you for everything, don't take thier prescribed meds the way that they are directed to by the doctor you get my point I hope. What are my rights, what can be done.

Jeez! When you mentioned meds, automatically that alerted me to the fact that your sifnificant other may not be legally competant to even take the children...If I were you, I would contact an attorney asap! Any threats can be seen as a threat to the children as well. I would go to the courthouse and file for a protective order against your signifigant other. If anything illegal has been done to you or your children, you are eligible to file a restraining order. This will keep your significant other away. Atleast five hundred feet away from you and your children. Good luck! I have had to file one myself! It really does work.....They will arrest the significant other if they violate the terms of the order. Also, keep a journal of all occourances. I would also recommend filing a police report for every occourance as well. These things need to be on file. It will help make your case stronger!
