You are not really a father, only a sperm donor. You should realize that you can be dinged for child support, donor.

If you fight every time you go to pick him up. Nobody wins. if you are a good father, help financially. chances are you won't find yourself in child support court. that is a place you don't want to go. that will hurt you with other relationships as well. Just try. If she is being unreasonable it may be that she has feelings for you. don't take another women around yet. If she does have feelings for you, the last thing she wants is another women holding her man, and her baby. It should only take five minutes to pick up the child for a visit, if you spend it fighting it will only get worse. I would keep calm, say hello, and goodbye. It will pay off in the long run. the most important thing is your child, A father is so important in a child's life. It is so much easier to get along than it is to fight. I hate to say this, but I am a mother and as unfair as it is . the answer to your question is yes, What i mean by that is you can go to court and get time ordered. or you can just gets long and keep the courts out of it. You had to like this person at one time, if it is your baby, you need to do what it takes to have a healthy relationship with his mother. NO she can not. If it is proven that you are the father, you will have to go to family court and petition the court for visitation with the child. The visitation will be set by the courts if the 2 of you cannot aggree on a reasonable schedule. Once you have been proven to be the father you will be responsible to pay child support and you will also have to have some where to take the child while you have your visitation.
