You could do one of two things. You can contact a divorce lawyer and make an appointment and talk to him about what you want. You also have the option to get the divorce papers and just have an attorney help you fill them out for a small fee and then take the papers down to the court house and file them yourself. Your husband will have to be served and the court will send you a court date. That is the cheapest way if you are both willing and he is not contesting it. The court has know promblem with you both having joint custody alot of couples are going that way today for the best interest of the children. Child support is also established at the time of the divorce. I am happy to hear that you want two have your husband play an active part in your childrens or childs life.
