He's just leading you on. He wants things both ways, freedom & you (when he wants a woman). He calls randomly probably and you don't see or talk to him often, he just has you hooked. As long as you don't just say adios, and cut off all communication with him he still has that control over your emotions. Which means you remain hooked. If you have tried to break it off you are smart. You just need to take it to the next level and cut off contact as well, then meet someone else. There's always someone out there that DOES have time for you, on a daily basis, even if it's just a phone call to say HI!
