For the same reason that men in mainstream films tend to be better looking than average men. Casting directors want a product that sells, and men with a small package will likely sell fewer films. And it will be fairly obvious to even the casual viewer that the women aren't getting anything out of it.

Yep, I agree! just like the women in beach scenes on t.v. are usually more attractive. Go to a regular beach and it doesn't look like that!
