Well here is my opinion. If that boy is turning 18 soon and she will be 2 and they have sex that is illegal. Now no one can control over who we can love and can't. It's life and we fall for who we want to fall for and sometimes we can't. Well I think maybe it is possible because a lot of people fall in love with much older people. My grandparents are like fifteen years apart and they are very happily married.

But! I think when the girl is eleven and the boy is seventeen there is something different there. It could be lust. Do you know what that is? Lust is falling for looks and the outside appearance. Now this girl is just starting to understand everything around her and this boy probably has a lot of expreicence with girls. Now if he was truly and deeply fallin for this girl he needs to wait. She is just starting to experience life and if he tries to get her into a deep relationship it will likely turn out to be a diaster. She won't understand what love really means and she won't understand a lof of things so it might frustrate the boy. I think the best thing for him to do is find some girls his own age. And maybe as the girl grows older and he does too maybe one day they can be together. It makes more sense when adults hook up with people older than them because they have a lot of exericence. For now i think that boy should just stay friends with her. Because if they get into a relationship and it falls apart she won't be his friend anymore do you think? Then what is he gonna have? It's better to be friends with her than ruin the friendship with maybe just lust love.

I hoped this helped.

I think that six years at that age is too great of a time length for the relationship to last. At 18, you should have nearly graduated highschool, had your crushes, maybe went to prom, and are ready to move into the adult years.

At 12, you're barely leaving elementary school, have yet to experience pimples, voice changes, and all of those awkward teenage developments.

When she turns 18, you'll be 24, again, a little too old. My advice would be to live out your life, and let her live out hers...perhaps not as lovers, but as really close friends.

It would not be a wise choice for either from the boys position he could have felony charges that would follow him for life and that is just the legal issue ==both still have a lot of growing to do and by the time she is of legal age a lot of boys would come into her life and feelings would probably change in short take your time you have a lot of changes coming your way both physically and mentally so give yourself some time to grow up and there will be more boys you will like just as much and if you two are meant to be you will find tour way back to each other

NO--I do NOT think a 17 yr old boy can fall in love with an 11 yr old girl. This 17 yr old boy should be focusing on college or a career or some other form of adult thinking instead of how to mess up an 11 yr old girl's life. This 17 yr old boy needs to grow up and mature. With every choice we make there are consequences. I'd keep that in mind.

Regardless if he loves her or she loves him.
Both and I mean ESPECIALLY the 11 year old are growing up and becoming different people all the time. There is less than a 1 in a million chance that either will still feel the same in 10 years, and the chances that both will still feel the same in 10 years is lower than that.
If you guys feel like your so in love that you want to be together, just make an agreement that when she is 18 you guys will get together.
I know you are thinking that thats a long time, or that you may fall out of love by then.
But, Actually thats my point to start with.
It IS a long time.
You will likely fall out of love by then.
BUT! The boy won't be in prison.

The classic rule is the female's age (FA) should be given by the formula: FA = (MA/2) + 7, where MA is the male's age. So if you are 17, your girlfriend should be 25 1/2, not 12. If you were 50, your girlfriend would be 32. This formula takes into account both physiological and emotional factors. You are obviously way too old for this child, but if you wait four years, you will be perfect together (and legal).

Trove882 is right.
Although, I believe he meant that the perfect girl for your current age is 15 1/2 not 25 1/2.

Yes, a girl can fall in love with an older guy, and a 6 year age gap isn't bad at the right ages.

17 and 11 is just wrong morally and would never work. however if they were 24/18 that could work, and 27/21 would work great.

if you are the 11year old falling in love with the 17 year old, i'd stay clear and find someone your own age to get involved with right now. or else wait till you get to High school

I seriously doubt that his love will endure for the length of time that he's in prison and, even if it does, she will have forgotten him after taking Rocky to her junior Prom and falling in love with him while dancing to the new HIP HIP number 1 single! and when you get out of jail you are who? Dany 147? Hmm. I think I may remember you...oh yes, you're the guy who went to jail for me. Hey Bummer, really sorry dude! That was totally unfair....DUDE!
