How do I go about getting my dad, step-mom and sister to talk to each other with out blaming, yelling and understanding where each other is coming from?

My 16 year old sister just moved in with me because of the way my dad and step-mom(her mom and step-dad) treat her. No physical abuse is happening, but my dad yells at her all the time, tries to blame her for anything to stat a argument(I really don't think he see that he does it though) and then gets in trouble for back talking. I do not believe my dad would go to counseling, so how do I get them all to talk this out? I love my sister but I am only 24 with 3 babies of my own, I really don't know how to raise a 16 year old. And not so sure see would see me as a more then just a sister that she is staying with.

First of all you are to be commended for taking in your sister and caring enough about your family to want to get some help for the problem. Good for you. Secondly, since i don't know your family personally I can only go by what you have explained here, but maybe your dad is going through something that he hasn't told anyone about. Also, since it is his step daughter he could be experiencing grief over other problems concerning children or young females in his life. Maybe he is suffering from some kind of loss in his life and he is taking it out on her. Like you said, psychotherapy treatment would definitely get him to get to the root of his problem(s) and move through them. But on your part it would be commendable to keep loving him and being supportive of him no matter how his days may be.
