Visitation rights for grand pa

Iam from california and i come to texas to visit my daughter and her kids.i also have a son whos on drugs ans he and the mother are not in her life. i have spent alot of good times with my grand daughter and now my son told my granddaughters grand ma for her not to let me see her. its breaking my heart and i was wondering if you can help me out or give me some advise.none of the parents are in her life.the grand ma she lives with is dirty and full of roaches. she doesnt deserve to live like that all i wan to do is visit and take her out to movie or dinner. she knows me very well and she knows i love her dearly. sinse i have been here i have spoke to 3 lawyers and they tell me i have no rights as long as the father my son told her grand ma not to let me see her and they agreed and told me no. please help
