I feel exactly the same way...exactly, but, you have to realize how differently guys brains and thinking patterns are from girls', I know my man loves me, he's just un-affectionate, I'm not too affectionate myself, but would prefer a little more, got used to it now, just make sure he loves you....don't you think over-affectionate couples are obnoxious anyway?

Why can't my boyfriend show affection?
I feel I am a very attractive woman but I have a horrible self esteem due to my boyfriend not wanting to show any affectionate feelings towards me. All his friends think I'm gorgeous and other men I work around - but the one who needs to notice me and have affection for me doesn't.
When we are out in public he is always checking out other women - even ones not as attractive but always younger. I just can't understand and neither can the friends I have that are guys. They state that they don't understand how he can keep his hands off me.
I'm not sure if it is me, or if it is him? Should I dump him for a better guy, someone that does think I'm gorgeous and can't keep their hands of me? I know there aren't a shortage of guys around me.

Is he married to you? DOes he ever want to marry you? IF he is acting like this now...then what is to say about the future. Is there anyone else you want to meet or date? Why not date around?? You dont have a ring on your finger so you might as well. Looking at other woman in public is NO excuse, he is showing signs of disinterest. What does he do for you?? Make a list.. IF the pros are better than the cons then maybe it is okay. However I get the feeling that you want out. ANd maybe you should date around before you accept him as an unnaffectionate man.
