Will he ask me out?
I met a man on the train and We exchanged numbers. I called him the next day. We chatted briefly and after I said to him "so I will let you get back to your work." and attempted to end the phone call he said to me "how about we do something later in the week." I said sure awesome. He said he would call me after his recital on monday which he is practicing for now. Question: Is he blowing me off by not making firm plans right then and there when he had me on the phone or will he call me and make firm plans for us to get together once the recital is over?

He probably had a lot on his mind at the time and didn't want to make plans with you that he knew he might have to break because of work or other circumstances. You only get one shot to make a good impression and im sure he doesn't want to blow it. Give the guy a chance and if he doesn't call you in a week or so then maybe he was blowing you off but give him some time. Maybe he doesn't want to scare you off by jumping into things too quickly.

Well I don't see any reason why you would think that he is blowing you off. He exchanged numbers with you so he must be interested. He did ask you if you two could get together some time. Give him some time to call you back. I am sure he was telling you the truth about having a recital. It is way to early to look for signs about how he feels. If it had been me I would of waited a few days and give him the chance to call me first, but then I am old fasion.
