As I understand it you were tofether your last two years of High School. There are strong attachments that come from growing up together, You say he is mean to you, did this start after the breakup or was he always mean to you. If it started after the break up the question is whay did he break up with you. Regardless to the reason why you must move on with your life. You will meet someone new if you are open to it. I knew someone who went for five years saying that the could not meet any one and when she finaly let go of the past she met the true love of her life. They are now happily married and have a child. Life will go on if you don not hold on the the past.

The only reason you feel desperate to be with this old boyfriend is your inability to attract a new boy friend. No mature woman would want to be with a man who is mean to her. That is just plain stupid. Fix yourself up, get out more and work on getting a new boy friend who will treat you with the respect you deserve.
