NASA recently launched a mission to discover water on the moon. Do you think they'll find any?

On Friday, October 9th at about 4:30 A.M. PST, NASA plans to slam two spacecraft into the moon in an effort to find water. NASA says they are conducting this "bombing of the moon" is to find out if there is water on the moon that can be used. If they find water there, then on future exploration missions or trips to the moon, water won't have to be carried.

There is theory that water on earth came from meteoroids in form of ice. If those meteoroids hit the moon you may also find some water/ice there too.

Yes they will find water on the moon the reason simple. Water even though science my not realize is one of the most prevalent things in the universe maybe not as prevalent as hydrogen but because hydrogen is so abundant it is not a far jump to say water is as well. So far every planet has been found to have water. From Jupiter, Venus, Mars, Possibly even Mercury on the back side. For example Venus atmosphere is composed of sulfuric acid well what is that you may ask it is made up of H20 The mass of the Venus atmosphere is about 90 times that of the Earth's atmosphere so you may think that is not a lot of water but even 10 percent water is a lot in comparison. All comets found have water. So science is not quick to state the obvious but I could have told you the moon had water 20 years ago. I have a decent understanding of the universe considering I am composed of it as we all are. I am 100% positive they will find water. I am 100% that they have already but just want to be positive. Look at Mars they knew it had polar caps 10 years or more before they admitted to it. Not necessarily because they with hold the info. But no one wants to look like a fool so things take time. In the next twenty years we will find out a lot of very very interesting things. So good luck and to be to surprised. For anything is possible and probable given enough time.

It is interesting I heard that when NASA crashed a satellite on the moon, it rang like a bell for hours, as if it was hollow, I then thought interesting. Advanced life could burrow into rocks like our moon or even Mars, and be protected from the vacuum of space and high energy particles. It could be very common for advanced civilizations to live in such places in a way it is safer in the long run than living on a planet like this a.k.a Earth. Moon has no volcanic activity, or earthquakes, or whatever. It's the next step in our evolution lol
