What is more effective a blood test or swab for dna paternity?

My twin grandkids had a dna test done, there are fraternal according to doctor, because was 2 placenta, cords, sacks, etc. the placenta was one inferior the other exterior, they do not look alike won is darker than the other we are hispanic. we did it twice even the lab is amazed by the results because they are like clones. with the allege father well they look exactly like him not her husband and according to her she was last with her husband in dec 2006, but with the allege father IN JANUARY,FEB AND MARCH, there is no 3rd she is certain. we have not done the test to her husband but he is also denied the kids. she is confuse and desperate. because everything is coming up the reverse that she knew it was, even with the kids that they said they were fraternal and now shows up they are identical even if they don't look a like. they are 0- blood rh-, and both time the test was done they were under medication and had a very bad cold.

By the way the test on the allege father came out negative, and the kids test came out to be like clones, number by number. What happens is the husband comes out negative also.

Medication and colds do not affect DNA tests. You seem a bit confused here. It almost sounds like there was a blood test; not a DNA test. Blood tests themselves are NOT a good way to prove parentage, but DNA tests are pretty much infallible if the lab performing the tests follows the correct procedures. As for what the mother is claiming; whether you love her or not, never forget that people tend to lie (or conveniently forget the truth) when something happens that could make them look bad to other people.

Yes I agree with Idsch. DNA tests are very accurate these days. In fact, I would suggest you go to a drug store where you can get an over the counter DNA test for about $30 to test the husband, if he is also not the father then she is lying and there is a third.

Good luck!
