On July 20th 1969 Apollo 11 landed on the moon
President Bush wants us to go back, but we won't going until a 2018 projection because we can't figure out HOW!! Does this problem figuring out how to land on the moon nearly 40 years after we first did solidify the Lunar Landing Hoax theroys?

We do know how to get there, the problem we have is that we have no heavy lift vehicles capable of sending us to the moon. We no longer have any Saturn V rockets, which sent Apollo up. Also, we are a lot more risk adverse as we are not in a race with the Soviets. The Russians are the only ones with a heavy lift vechicle and I don't see us using theirs. Chinese might beat us getting back, then I suspect we'll be looking at a race towards Mars. If that happens, hopefully we'll follow the path laid out by Robert Zubrin and the Mars Society. With today's technology, we could get there now.
As far as the moon landings being faked. I think that's just a wild conspiracy theory. We were there. There was actually a beacon placed there that we can hit.

The beacon could have been sent there by a method similar to the Mars rovers.
There are plenty of theories about mars as well, and how it could actually be alot less red then we think it is.

Did we make it? Thats hard for anyone to say for sure. I do believe we faked the pictures of being there - to look better. However, in '68 we sent astronauts around the moon. So we had the ability of how to get there.
Personally I don't think it's a hoax. Too many people would have had to known. It was too public to be completely faked.
