I'm really not sure what you mean by being winter. but I think something you should take into consideration is your undertone pigment.
do you look better in an off white t-shirt or a white t-shirt?
Do you tan or burn easily?
finding out your undertone can give you the colors that work best for your skin type.

When trying to select becoming color in clothing you need to consider 3 factors, your skin, your eyes and your hair. You need to determine what color your complexion is. Warm complexions have pink, violet, or blue undertones and cool complexions have pink, violet or blue undertones. With warm you can wear Ivory, Yellow green, Orange and brown. With cool you can where white, blue gree, Pink, Burgandy, and black.

I had my colors done years ago while living in California. I was told I could definitely not wear stark white, but always found that I loved how I looked in that non-color. I think it was all just a bit over the top what I was told. I think we all did just fine decades ago wearing whatever color we wanted any time of the year and not worrying about what season we were. I think people can figure out what color they look best in without someone else telling you.
