How many people think that Kohl's 4:00 am Black Friday sale is just plain cruel for the employees?

I just don't think that it is fair! Employees don't need to be up that early - for what, so customers can save $20 on a toaster or 10% on a sweater. Get real, let them sleep in and make money on the markup like you always do!

The whole Black Friday thing is ridiculous. Haven' t all these people seen all the great deals you can find on the internet? You can sit at home, in your PJs, and buy things off Amazon all day long and have them sent straight to your house. Did I mention you could sleep until noon?

Are you serious? Come on! This is not cruel - it's part of the retail rat race. That's like saying 'do you think its cruel to make waiters take care of 20 people at a time'. It's one day a year and it's really important to businesses AND customers who look for deals. For me and my mom it has always been a tradition - Village Inn at 4 to get some energy to throw some elbows for the latest and greatest toys and then let the madness begin. There are a lot of jobs that start at 4am or earlier, if you don't want to work it, well then find another job!

Black Friday rules. You'll get great deals on tons of stuff and save a lot of $$. You finish shopping in one day and have it over with.

It's a free country man. If the employees don't like it they can find a better job. Besides, they knew going into it that holiday retail hours are crazy.
