What are the prices of these beanie babies?

All beanie babies are now worth less than the $5 people initially paid for them. I have some very rare ones that cost more than $300 to purchase back in the hay day of beanie babies and they are now worth.... wait for it... 50 cents, despite being in perfect condition.

I have an entire box of them that I was offered $20 for (I'm talking a huge, plastic box with a sealed lid. I was offered an extra $7 for the box so the guy wouldn't have to find another way to tote them around). Many of them were rare, hard to find and from the very first line of beanie babies. All worth nearly nothing.

Unfortunately, these prized possessions are worth next to nothing when compared to the prices we paid for them. My sister owns a suitcase full of beanie babies, some she paid quite a fortune for. I plan to hold on to the ones I own since it just isn't feasible to sell them. Reminds me alot of the Stock Market!
