I think that faith and trust are one in the same. Faith is trust in something that you can't "sense" in the physical aspect. Maybe you need to be capable of trust in order to have real faith.

I think it order to establish trust, you must first have faith. I mean, you have to believe in something before you can fully trust it.

Trust in people is different than trust in God. People will eventually let you down, God however is ALWAYS faithful, He cannot be anything but. It is a more abstract thought process I know, first you have to have faith that there is a Soveriegn being who knows way better than you or I what is best. When trusing in Jesus, you cannot put constraints on what will or will not be done. You can't tell God that if He exists then He will do this or that. HIs ways are not our ways. You can ask to win the lottery, or for someone to not die, but His will is perfect, and while we don't always like the outcome, He really does know better than we ever could. Remember, God ALWAYS answers prayers, it's just that the answers can be.. yes, no, or not right now (WAIT). Trust is a gradual thing so faith MUST come first. Susu
