Have you ever experienced the intervention of an angel in your life?

Not sure if this was an angel or what, but I was driving, looking off to the left not really paying attention, looked forward and saw i was speeding into a car in front of me stopped at a red light, did some fancy brake no look swerve into the left turn lane (well before it was a turn lane) and safely made a left and then spent the next hour calming down.

I believe that I used most of the Car Karma points I had accumulated over the years that moment.

Hello there again. It's so interesting to hear both of your stories and thank you for sharing. It's always so fascinating to know that there is another realm that we are connected to. I've had a couple of interventions happen in my life that I beleive were angels or God.

One was very similar to what sidelko experienced. It was actually when I lived in Colorado and worked in the downtown Denver area. I was crossing a busy Speer Blvd. intersection and while in the intersection, a car in the cross traffic ran the light. In assessing his speed and distance to me, it was a given that I was definately going to be plowed into. It seemed that this speeding car approaching my passenger side was only about 10 feet or less away.

I took a deep breath to steady myself for the impact that again appeared inevitable. But what happened next pretty well blew my mind. It was if the last few moments of crossing that intersection were lost and the next thing I knew, I was already on the other side of the street, unharmed. I don't know what happened here. Did an angel or the hand of God place me into a time warp? Or pick my car up and place it on the other side? To this day I am baffled as again, logic of seeing this oncoming car was an inevitable bad crash about to occur.

Another time, my then husband was out of town. A power outage had occurred that night as I slept, causing the alarm clock to go on the blink. I awoke to the clear voice of my husband telling me to get up but when I sat up, he wasn't there. I ran downstairs thinking, wow, he's home early...but no husband to be found in the house. He was still clear accross the country. I beleive it was an angel being kind enough to wake me so that I wouldn't be late for work and perhaps assumed my husband's voice as to not scare me.

The last occurance was a situation of my being used to intervene in another's life. There was this wonderful woman who cleaned house for my mother when we were growing up in Memphis. I had moved to Colorado and lost touch with her. I beleive it had been around 5 years since we had spoken. One evening a strong, urgent message popped into my mind that I needed to call her and let her know that I love her. I did. A few years later, I returned to Memphis to visit and let her know that I was in town. It was then that she advised me that she had been contemplating suicide that night that I called. Her sister with whom she had lost touch also called her that night. Needless to say, the messages of love spared her from taking her life.

I've never seen a real angel, although that would be pretty awesome. Just the same, I can definately say that we are connected to another realm out there. A friend of my husband's friend snapped a really neat photo of an angel in the sky. (photo was authenticated as untouched, etc.) He has a copy of it in his photo album. I'll get him to scan it to share with you, if that's permitted here. It's pretty neat and has so much detail that it's definately not one of those 'oh....any one could imagine that shape in the clouds' kind of thing.

All I can say is I believe Angels walk the earth. God has put so many people in my path just when I really needed someone. They helped me through some tough times.

I don't recall feeling the brush of angel wings, but I have had a feeling that has made me act a certain way and I avoided some accidents, incidents in doing so. I think an Angel has made me turn around and rethink my actions.

I'm with Jane 13. There was one particular incident where I believe there was a guardian angel over my little sister. When I was about 8, my little sister was 2 and we were playing with a kickball in the house (I was always a rebel :) and my sister kicked it into the HUGE glass light fixture that was above her. I watched in horror as the glass SHATTERED in huge shards that could have caused her serious harm and they fell in a perfect circle around her - even though they should have shattered straight down. It was unbelievable! She didn't have as much as a sliver on her and there were pieces that were easily 5-6 inches long. It was weird - we have a picture of the perfect circle around her.

There are times when an Angel has been in my life. I feel the presence of them every Sunday at Church

When I was 16, I was training with the U.S. Equestrian team, when I was going over a jump during a cross country race my stirup safety malfunctioned and broke away, causing me to fall up under my horse mid jump. I was kicked in the head fracturing my skull, and broke my right femur and arm in the fall.

Here was "angel" experience with it.

Before races you walk the course with your horse, getting a feel for it, my horse always balked at people walking on the trail, well I came across a blond lady walking and my horse didn't balked but allowed her to pet him, I thought it odd, but didn't think much more of it. That night I had a dream that I fell during a jump. The next day, as things began to unfold, I realized, "this is exactly what I dreamed" as I lay on the ground waiting for the emt's thinking surely I would die, there was the blond lady again, she held my hand and told me I would be ok, she rode in the ambulance with me, I thought she was and off dutie EMT. Then at the hospital, I had to have what is called "waking brain surgery" this where they wake you up during surgery so that you can speak to them, recited the alphabet, whatever, so they know they are not hitting something vital, in my case they had to remove bone fragements from my brain. Anyway, when they woke me up, there was the blond ladie again, talking to me, making me talk to her, reasurring me etc.. The next day when I was feeling better, I asked the nurses about her, they didn't know what I was talking about, I asked the surgeon if I could see her, he didn't know what I was talking about, I asked my mom, she asked around, she asked the EMT's who brought me to the hospital, NO ONE but me ever saw the blond lady.

And if I am ever unsure that angels walk among us, I only need look at my 18 year old daughter who died when she was 3, and remained brain dead for 3 solid weeks, waking up just minutes before life support was to be removed, with a differnet personality, a caring, giving soul, funny, born a red head, and now a blond lady.

Wow! Your stories are so very beautiful and touching and did bring tears to my eyes. I really do beleive that these angelic encounters happen much more often than we think. Even some of the smallest occurances should be remembered. I have decided to start keeping a log as they occur so that I don't forget them. Thank you so much for sharing your very touching stories!
