I feel lost

Well, there are so many questions I'd like to ask you to see where you are spiritually, but let me try without that knowledge and assume that you do not have a relationship with Christ.

Many people feel lost at some time or another, even those who go to church and have a relationship with Christ can have feelings of displacement, but they usually work through it. Alot of times it is due to the fact that they are not going to realize all the dreams they set for themselves when they were younger. Sometimes it is merely an attack by satan, (yes he is real).

Feeling lost is most likely due to the God-shaped hole in your heart that needs to be filled. Christ changes people in a way that cannot be accurately discribed because it is different for everyone. Just like the relationship between children and their parents. One siblings relationship is not exactly like the others, even with twins. Plus the relationship is dependant upon how much effort you put into it. You can't cry out to God just when things are bad, but you must call on Him when times are good. We should actually praise Him during the difficult times as well. It is hard to do, but it all boils down to trusting in the Sovereignty of God.

I won't lie to you, the life of a Christian is not an easy road and anyone who tries to make you think so is wrong. This is a common misconception of those who are thinking of making that decision. They think all their problems will be solved. You may actually lose some friends over your decision, but in the end it is worth it. Salvation is worth any cost you have to pay. (2 Corinthians: 9-10 "'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' "Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong." )
You see Christ died for our sins, each and everyone of us,and He was without sin.

To foster a relationship with Christ, it is not enough to believe that He exists, even satan believes this. (Mark 1:23-24 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.)
(Matthew 7:21-23 Not everone who says 'Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not drive out demons in your name? Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?’ Then I will declare to them solemnly, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you evildoers.’)

You must admit you are a sinner in need of a Saviour, believe that Christ died for your sins and was risen from the grave by the Power of God, then confess Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. (John 3:16 -For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.)

Being a good person will not get you into Heaven. (John 14:6 -Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.)

You feel lost because you are. Stop being lazy and figure out what you want to accomplish with your life. If you just want to be lazy, so be it. Just be happy with it because that's the way you decided to be. If you want to do something positive with yur life; lets get going.

Hello. My name is Suzanne. I have been attending an apostolic (UPC) church now for 11 years. Before that, I went to a Baptist church. I cursed, I slept around, I would even cuss someone out in the church building or on the lot. I knew good and well I wasn't "saved". I had said "the sinners prayer" many times and "asked Jesus in to my heart". I even had been baptised many times. I knew good and well within myself that I was NOT on my way to heaven with that kind of a lifestyle. The preacher told me as long as I had asked Jesus in to my heart that I was fine. I started searching for something different and THANK GOD, I found the truth! This truth is one God apostolic or UPC and what they teach...... we must b baptised IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST for the remission of our sins (or the washing away of) and we must recieve the gift of the holy ghost as it says in Acts 2:38. There ios so much more that goes along with this. Don't really have time to go into here, but my suggestion to you my friend is if you are TRULY wanting to turn your life around and live a GODLY life is to find you an apostolic church that teaches one God, Jesus name. ......just SEE what GOD will do for you if you are really interested! Usually people who feel lost have no purpose in life that is bigger then them, or a compelling reason to build or create things in your life.

are you satisfied at work? I'm guessing not.

what do you love to do? how much do you do those things?

what do you want to be doing with your life? Work on doing more of that.

if you don't know what you want to be doing, I would start pondering that. That is where the answer to your question lies.

I belivein the wilderness feeling ! and it seems 2 happen 2 all belivers. in my 16 yr cristian walk ; 12 - 14 of those I felt like I was alone.
but JESUS SAYS " I WILL NEVER LEAVE U NOR FORSAKE U "
the christian enermy (prince of darkness) is trying two trick beliver away from thier believes in JESUS.
coz he`s a saw loser he was beat`n near on 2000 yr`s ago ! (it`s like a game satin -v- the trinity) and the human race is like pawns stuck being pulled both ways.
BUT if U keep your eyes on JESUS and following his ways (john 14 v 6 & trying 2 keep the 10 commandments (not suggestions ) . jesus golden rule will come natural ( mathew 7 v`s 1 & 12 )
I`m asuming U R of the same faith as me ! if so stick with it. the best is yet to come.
