I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses...

And our goal is to teach others about the truth of God's Word the Bible. It's not about converting to gain members at all! It's to teach others about what God's Kingdom can and will do for mankind. We are students of the bible who love people and want to share God's message with others. However, it's teachings are for our own benefit!

We live as closely to the standards that Jesus' set before us. No one is perfect, needless to say. We strive to live morally clean lives and apply what we learn from the scriptures and up hold God's standards.

So I just wanted to state that as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, we do not try to convert others...We try to reach the heart of those who are looking for answers, who want to live a clean life, who loves righteousness, and has a deep love for God and Jesus. Due to this, many realise the things that they have always been taught out of tradition, is somewhat different from what the bible/scriptures actually tell us..resulting in a change of belief.

Many today are mislead or don't even know about the true meaning of God's Kingdom. My goal in making these statements is to clarify that Jehovah's Witnesses do this door to door work out of love for mankind, love for God and Jesus, not to gain members. If we gain members, that's because they now see that they have been taught unscriptual things all their life.. We share biblical proof, not the word of man.. but the word of God!

I hope no one takes offense! This is not my intention.. We share Bible truths with those who want to listen and learn!

People who behave in this manner call themselves "missionaries," but I call them "aggravating deluded psychotics."

They are called Proselyte's. The act itself is called Proselytism. Proselytism is the practice of attempting to convert people to another opinion and, particularly, another religion.
